Concordia Lutheran High School has been providing Christ-centered educational excellence since 1935. We are a 9-12 school that offers 15 distinct academic programs (including 16 AP classes, 8 Dual Credit classes, and 7 Honors classes). We offer 21 different sports for boys and girls, and more than 20 different clubs and activities, including a JROTC leadership program. We pride ourselves on small class sizes and a family atmosphere!

The McMillen Award goes to a male and female freshman. Criteria for the award is based on on citizenship, sportsmanship, and athletic achievement. This year's recipients are Evan Armstead and Kori Brown.

CLHS Junior Has Visual Poem Selected for Indiana Youth Film Festival

Junior Scotland Dry's visual poem "Where I'm From" has been selected to show at the Indiana Youth Film Festival on June 22 at Kan-Kan Cinema in Indianapolis. This video was previously given the top prize in the video category at the CLHS Fine Arts Festival this past spring. Congratulations to Scotland!

The Sertoma Award 2024

Beginning with the original schools of Ft. Wayne North Side, Ft. Wayne South Side, Fort Wayne Central, Central Catholic, & Concordia Lutheran, the award has now expanded to include all high schools within Allen County. Based on the core criteria of scholastic achievement, athletic distinction, and demonstrated leadership, the Sertoma Award is the same today as it has been for over six decades. Often considered the Heisman Trophy of Fort Wayne, the Sertoma Award recognizes the achievements of the student athlete within the classroom and upon the arena of athletic competition. The Sertoma Award recipient represents the inner strength and determination within the human spirit to succeed at the highest level of accomplishment. Each generation of Sertoma Award winners have contributed to society by excelling in areas of education, business, medicine, law, and the arts. This tradition continues today.

Dr. & Mrs. Al Wick decided to establish a scholarship for an incoming ninth grade student given in the name of a senior male and female basketball player based on the following criteria: academic performance, leadership, Christian character, athletic ability, sportsmanship, contribution to the team, and over-all school participation.

This award will be given annually to a deserving senior female soccer athlete at Concordia Lutheran High School. The individual must possess excellent leadership skills, have a positive attitude, and demonstrate tremendous Christian character.

Dean Doerffler Award 2024

This award is given to a male and female senior athlete or team manager who is a person of highest integrity, has character that is above reproach, is a person who is a Christian servant to everyone they encounter, and a role model others would aspire to emulate. These awardees are kindhearted, generous with their time and talents and are fully dedicated to the mission of Concordia Lutheran High School.

Anna Jean Retrum Award

This award, a silver bowl, is presented to the senior female athlete on the basis of her athletic achievements, leadership, desire, team play, outstanding Christian character, scholarship, and above all, a Christ-centered attitude. Coaches and administrators make recommendations to the Athletic Director and then the coach's vote for the award winner. A plaque, donated by the Concordia Women's Club is placed on the wall in the main lobby and bears the name of the recipient.

J. NEIL REINCKE CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP AWARD

This award is presented annually in honor J. Neil Reincke, athletic director at Concordia Lutheran High School from 1989 - 1999. This award is given for outstanding Christian leadership, dependability, integrity, & loyalty toward Concordia Lutheran High School, teammates, & coaches.

Edward R. Brackmann Award 2024

This award, presented in honor of Edward Brackmann, who served as athletic director for 15 years, is given to the most outstanding varsity male and female senior athletes at Concordia Lutheran High School. These student athletes must have outstanding Christian character, they must be loyal to teammates, coaches, and our school, they must have the desire and commitment to pursue excellence, and have an outstanding Christ-centered attitude. This award is presented by the Concordia Athletic Booster Club and carries a scholarship value, donated by the booster club.

CLHS Girls' Tennis Repeats As Sectional Champions!

Concordia girls tennis brought home their second straight sectional title, their 18th overall in program history by a 4-1 win Blackhawk Christian. They will play DeKalb in the first round of regionals on Tuesday at 4:15. Regionals will be held at Carroll.

Cadets Girls Track Place 4th at Regionals

The Girls Track team had a great night last night at the Carroll Regional. The team placed 4th overall and our 4x800m girls team (Brylee Crass, Lexi Panning, Sidney Scheumann, and Mallory Weller) set another school record (9:14.66) while placing 1st in the Regional. This is the second time this year they have broken the previous school record. Other team members moving on to state are: 800m - Mallory Weller 3200m - Lexi Panning and Brylee Crass

CLHS Class of 2025 Rising Stars of Indiana

Rising Stars of Indiana is a non-competitive recognition program, designed to honor high school juniors for their academic achievement. By allowing schools to identify outstanding scholars during their Junior year, we hope to increase their visibility and scholarship opportunities. Each Indiana high school can recognize up to four individual students.

CLHS Honors Academy Senior Project Presentations

Each CLHS Honors Academy student completes a Senior Research Project that reflects an academic interest, personal concern, or career aspiration. The student designs the project, conducts research, and maintains a portfolio that documents the project. Each student is guided by a mentor and then presents his/her work. This is the culminating project for the Honors Academy students. This year there are 10 seniors who presented throughout March, April and early May.

Milholland Named Finalist for Congressional Art Competition

CLHS Senior Emily Milholland has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition of Indiana 3rd District. Her art piece, The Story Inn, will be on display during an invite only showcase on the afternoon of Thursday, May 9 at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.

The Girls Track team continues on a record breaking season. Recently at the SAC Track meet at Northrop, the CLHS team placed 2nd overall. Highlights from the night include another School Record Alert and multiple meet records.
