Saturday, January 24, 2026, Joe Cobb participated in the Fort Wayne Regional Singles event held at MVP. He competed against 33 other bowlers for the top 12 spots in order to advance to Semi State. Joe secured advancement by placing 11th with a 564. He will compete Saturday January 31, 2026 at ThunderBowl for the Fort Wayne Semi State Singles event. Good luck at Semi State Joe!

The Concordia Lutheran High School JROTC Cadets were crowned the overall champions of the Major John Gardiner Memorial Drill Meet in Holland, Ohio, earlier this month. Great job!

The Concordia girls won the SAC swimming and diving championships held last week at the Helen P. Brown Natatorium. The Cadets finished with 501 points, followed by Dwenger with 407 and Snider with 350.

Concordia boys and girls cross country shined at the annual SAC championships on Saturday at Northrop High School. The Cadets swept individual and team titles in the boys and girls races. In the boys race, Hunter Panning paced the way with a time of 16:03.7, beating Snider's Jacksan Slater by just under two seconds. The Cadets cruised to a team title, with Northrop finishing as conference runner-up.

The Concordia Lutheran High School #JROTC placed 2nd overall at the Indiana State Raider Championship at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Off to Raider Nationals at Fort Knox Kentucky. Next week a quick stop at Ben Davis to compete.

The CLHS theater season opened with this psychological thriller. The show unravels an elegant mystery about an ex-tennis star who plots to kill his wealthy wife. Tony Wendice suspects his lovely wife Margot of being disloyal to him. In an attempt to gain the upperhand, Tony spins a tangled web of deception, lies, and revenge that can only end in one thing: murder. This thriller is directed by Mr. Chris Murphy.

Concordia Lutheran High School is pleased to announce the members of its 2025 Homecoming Court. This year's Queen nominees were Joy Hedtke, Madison Raypole, and Remington Tallent, and the King nominees were Drew Belschner, Keaton Gass, and Beckett Moellering. During the Homecoming festivities, Madison Raypole was crowned Homecoming Queen, and Keaton Gass was crowned Homecoming King. The coronation took place during halftime of the Cadets' Homecoming football game, as students, staff, alumni, and families gathered to celebrate school spirit and community. Concordia Lutheran High School congratulates all of the nominees for representing the values of leadership, character, and service that define the Cadet community.

Concordia Lutheran High School is welcomes it's freshmen to the Honors Academy. The Honors Academy promotes exceptional academics, leadership and community service among students. Through service opportunities, leadership summits, and college visits, students are given every opportunity to excel in their learning. Begun in 2014, program involves academic rigor and discovery, creative processing and research, mentor directed community service and leadership development as well as student bonding and support.

Concordia Lutheran High School regularly publishes achievements about students and their accomplishments through software called "Merit." When your child is recognized, Merit will ensure you are notified! We send you an email with a link to the achievement your student was honored in so you can read all about the great things your student is accomplishing! Despite extremely windy, cold conditions along with tricky pin positions, the Concordia boys golf team placed 2nd behind Bishop Dwenger in the 2025 SAC Championship Tournament with a team score of 366! Jack Habegger Named Barnabas Award Recipient Jack Habegger has been announced as the recipient for the 2025 Concordia Lutheran High School Barnabas Award The gift of encouragement is a beautiful fruit of the Spirit, and we all need it in our faith and daily lives. Thirty-nine years ago, the Class of 1986 stood where today's seniors now stand-ready to graduate and face new challenges. Wanting to leave a legacy at Concordia Lutheran High School, they created the Barnabas Award, named after the biblical encourager. In 2020, it was renamed the Richard W. Moellering Senior Barnabas Award to honor the Class of 1959 alumnus, who valued citizenship and servant leadership. The award includes a permanent plaque displayed at Concordia and a personal plaque for the recipient. The inscription reads: "Barnabas was a missionary and co-worker of St. Paul. His name means 'encourager,' which defined his ministry of service. At Concordia, we claim 'Christ is the center of our lives.' This award, a gift from the Class of 1986, honors a student whose life reflects that creed." Ten seniors were nominated this year: Gwen Burch Evan Gerig Jack Habegger Emma Latin Sierra Luttik Carson Nix Will Schlegel Naomi Weber Landon Willard Yabi Yidnekachew Throughout May, we've celebrated students using their God-given talents in academics, the arts, athletics, and more. Some of you were nominated by more than one person. Thank you. As outlined by the Class of 1986, the selection committee includes four faculty members, four seniors, and one member of the class of '86. Their joyful yet difficult task was to read inspiring nominations and choose just one honoree. On behalf of the Class of 1986, we are proud to present the 40th Richard W. Moellering Senior Barnabas Award to Mr. Jack Habegger. Here's what was said about Jack: "He lives out Christ's love by putting others first-helping with anything from sending a simple email to lightening someone's load." "From a young age, Jack has served with his heart. He never misses a chance to help someone in need." "He volunteers without hesitation and follows through on every commitment." "Jack has a gift for seeing opportunities to help-and acting on them. Many have been blessed by his quiet service." Jack is the third in his family to receive this award, following his father, Bill (1990), and his brother, Michael (2022).
