Concordia Lutheran High School has been providing Christ-centered educational excellence since 1935. We are a 9-12 school that offers 15 distinct academic programs (including 16 AP classes, 8 Dual Credit classes, and 7 Honors classes). We offer 21 different sports for boys and girls, and more than 20 different clubs and activities, including a JROTC leadership program. We pride ourselves on small class sizes and a family atmosphere!

CLHS Girls Track Places Third at Regionals

The girls track team placed 3rd at regionals finishing 1.5 points behind 2nd place Northrop. Top performances, listed below, advanced to the IHSAA State Track & Field Meet in Indianapolis on Saturday, June 6th. Girls 4x800 Meter Relay | 9:28.61 2nd Place Lilly Schlicker, Natalie Cordes, Ellie Walters & Mallory Weller [alt. Daphne Weller, Maddie Gentz, Brylee Crass & Hannah Clark]. 800 Meters | Maddie Gentz - 2:17.07 - 2nd Place and Brylee Crass - 2:17.37 - 3rd place. 1600 Meters | Mallory Weller - 4:43.81 - 1st Place and Daphne Weller - 4:57.24 - 2nd place. 3200 Meters | Mallory Weller - 10:27.09 - 1st Place and Daphne Weller - 10:42.28 - 3rd place.

2025 PSM Gemlick Scholarships Awarded to Seniors

Graduating seniors across the region were honored Tuesday, June 10, during the 2025 PSM Gemlick Scholarship banquet Parkview Mirro Center for Research & Innovation. Eight winners were received $8,000 scholarships - made possible by Parkview Health Foundation - for their academic excellence, athletic achievement and community engagement. Student-athletes were nominated by PSM athletic trainers assigned to the students' schools and by PSM Performance specialists who train the athletes. Winners are selected among the nominees by PSM Working Committee. This year, 55 nominees represented 32 high schools. Each nominee was recognized at the banquet with a video produced by the PSM Digital Outreach Team and a certificate from PSM. Eligible student-athletes must participate in one sport their senior year and hold a grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or 9.0 on a 12.0 scale). The Albright Gemlick Scholarships have been awarded since the 2003-04 school year, and bear the names of two late SportONE physicians: Dr. James E. Albright, who passed away in 1993; and Dr. Brett F. Gemlick, who passed away in October 2019.

Eight seniors awarded Albright Gemlick Scholarships

Micah David is currently a Junior and is a member of CLHS Bowling team. He participated in the Indiana State Youth Masters & Queens Tournament and qualified for the Indiana Youth All Stars Team. The team will compete against the Kentucky All Stars in June. Way to represent CLHS Micah!!

CLHS A Cappella Choir Earns Gold and Advanced to ISSMA State Finals

Concordia Lutheran High School's A Cappella Choir proudly represented the school at the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) State Finals on Saturday, May 10, after qualifying with top honors at the regional level. On May 3, the choir performed at Elkhart High School in the ISSMA State Qualifying Round, earning a Gold rating with distinction in both performance and sight-reading categories. Their exceptional performance secured them a spot among just 16 choirs statewide to advance to the prestigious State Finals, held at Pike High School in Indianapolis. Concordia's A Cappella Choir continues a long-standing tradition of excellence in vocal music and is a shining example of the school's commitment to both the arts and student achievement.

HOSA students joined other future health professionals to compete at the State Leadership Conference held April 14 - 16 in Indianapolis. There were 3,500 students who competed at this annual event. Concordia had 16 students compete in 10 events.

CLHS Junior Mallory Weller Crowned 2-Mile National Champion

Concordia Lutheran High School junior Mallory Weller claimed the title of National Champion in the 2-mile race at the 2025 New Balance Nationals this weekend in Boston. Weller dominated the competition with a blazing time of 10:05.56, setting a new personal record, a CLHS school record, the Indiana All-Time #3 mark, and the current US #6 time. Weller's incredible performance highlights her dedication and talent on the track. She also competed in the 1-mile event, finishing with a PR of 4:42.13, another school record, Indiana All-Time #3, and US #9 ranking. Congratulations to Mallory on this outstanding achievement!

Cadet Girls Track Shines at New Balance Nationals!

Our CLHS girls made a statement on the national stage this weekend in Boston! Mallory Weller is a NATIONAL CHAMPION in the 2-mile with a blazing 10:05.56-a PR, new school record, Indiana All-Time #3, and US #6! She followed it up with a 4:42.13 in the mile, another PR, school record, Indiana All-Time #3, and US #9! More amazing performances: Daphne Weller - 4:58.76 in the Freshman Mile, 4th place & All-American! Natalie Cordes - 5:21.06 PR in the Freshman Mile! 4x800 Relay (D. Weller, M. Gentz, B. Crass, M. Weller) - 9:15, 9th place! Daphne Weller - 2:18.72 PR in the Freshman 800m, 9th place! 4x1 Mile Relay (M. Gentz, H. Clark, N. Cordes, L. Schlicker) - 21:37.55, 24th place! Amazing job, ladies!

Concordia's Maroon Standard Chamber Choir Advances to State Vocal Jazz Competition

For the ninth consecutive year, Concordia Lutheran High School's Maroon Standard Chamber Choir has earned a spot at the State Vocal Jazz Competition! Since the inception of the event, Concordia has consistently secured a place among Indiana's top vocal jazz ensembles. Out of 25 choirs from four district sites, Maroon Standard advanced as one of the top eight choirs in the state. The State Finals will take place on Friday, March 21, at Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis. This achievement reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of the choir members and their director. The Concordia community is proud of Maroon Standard and wishes them the best of luck as they take the stage at state! Congratulations, Maroon Standard!

Concordia's Remmington Tallent Heads to IHSAA Gymnastics State Finals

Concordia Lutheran High School is proud to cheer on Remmington Tallent as she competes in the vault at the IHSAA Gymnastics State Finals this weekend. The competition will take place at Ball State University on Saturday, [date], with opening ceremonies beginning at 11:00 AM and competition starting at 11:30 AM. Remmington has demonstrated outstanding dedication and skill throughout the season, earning her spot among Indiana's top gymnasts. CLHS A Cappella Choir Spring Tour

The CLHS premiere concert choir, the 42-voice, A Cappella Choir is now on their annual tour through March 17th when they will return home for their final tour performance at Kramer Chapel on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne. They will be going as far west as Norfolk, Nebraska with stops in La Porte, Indiana, Urbandale, Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska, and Lincoln, Nebraska. They plan on spending a day at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha which was ranked #1 in the nation by USA Today 2 years in a row. The A Cappella Choir exists to honor God and proclaim the love of Christ in song. Tour is their opportunity to take this message on the road! All concerts are free to attend. CLHS Band & Orchestra Share Their Gifts on Annual Tour

The Concordia Lutheran High School Band and Orchestra recently took their talents on the road for their annual tour, bringing beautiful music and fellowship to communities across the Midwest. From February 6 through 10, students performed in three incredible venues, sharing their God-given gifts through inspiring concerts. The tour began with a stop at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elkhart, Indiana, where the musicians set the tone for an exciting journey with a 6:30 p.m. performance on February 6. From there, they traveled to Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois, performing for students, faculty, and guests in a special 7:00 p.m. concert on February 8. The tour concluded back home in Fort Wayne, where they played their final concert at St. Michael Lutheran Church on February 10 at 7:00 p.m., wrapping up a memorable trip filled with music, faith, and fellowship. This annual tour is a cherished tradition at CLHS, allowing students to share their talents, connect with Lutheran communities, and grow as musicians and ambassadors of our school. Congratulations to the Band and Orchestra for another successful and inspiring tour!

This sets a new SCHOOL RECORD for Mallory AND sets a NEW INDIANA INDOOR RECORD ranking Mallory with the 6th best 3200m All-Time in the State of Indiana. Austin Jefferies Competes In Bowling Regionals

On Saturday 1/25/2025, Austin Jefferies represented Concordia at the Fort Wayne Regional Singles event at MVP. Top 11 boys advanced to Semi State. Austin placed 24th out of 47 bowlers, with a 546, missing advancement by 50 pins. Great effort! The Cadet bowling season has now come to a close. Thanks to this year's team for making it fun and breaking some new Concordia team records. Cadets representing this year's team consisted of: Hudson Kraft, Margret Gilman, Milas Woods, Joe Cobb, Austin Jefferies, Micah David, Ethan Walker, Ben Lehman, and Isaac Garnett.

Winicker and Pesick Crowned SAC Wrestling Champions

Concordia Lutheran High School wrestlers Nolan Winicker (157 lbs) and Aidan Pesick (150 lbs) took home 1st place titles at the SAC Wrestling Championship. Their impressive performances secured individual victories in their weight classes, showcasing their hard work and dedication to the sport. As a team, the Cadets put up a strong fight, finishing 4th overall in the meet. Congratulations to Nolan, Aidan, and the entire wrestling team on a great competition!

Earning Academic All-State recognition is no small feat, as it requires a strong GPA, dedication to coursework, and excellence in football.
