Congratulations to Andreas Kourkoulis-Holman and Drew Hatfield earning All SAC First Team Honors. They each had 31 points.

Congratulations to freshman Haley Terrell winning the 1-meter diving competition at the SAC meet with a score of 368. This helped Concordia girls repeat as SAC champions.

Congratulations to the girls swim team for winning the SAC championship. Swimmers earning first team all SAC include Cocoa Milleman and Lydia Hogue with the maximum number of points (40). This is followed by Leah Scott (37), Leah Mallory (37), Quinn Lenwell (33), Lauren Harris (31), and Erin Hartzog (31).

Concordia Lutheran High School is proud to announce that Mallory Weller (Junior) and Daphne Weller (Freshman) have been named nominees for Girls Cross Country Player of the Year by the Indiana High School Sports Awards, presented by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.

Keira Dommer and Cienna Lapsley were selected to the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association (IHSVCA) All-District team. Congratulations on a great season.

CLHS had four players recognized at the All-State Banquet in November. Beckett Moellering Top Team Player Gavin Faus 2nd Team All-District Max Derheimer 2nd Team All-District Andrew Bostwick 1st Team All-District and All-State Honorable Mention

Congratulations to the CLHS XC Girls Cross Country Team! The Cadets are the Indiana Girls State Runners Up! With a team 2nd place finish at the IHSAA State XC Championship, the team came through with an impressive total points of 92 and team avg time of 18:18. The Cadets were led by Individual State Champ - Mallory Weller 17:12.19, 8th place - Daphne Weller 17:56.00, 32nd place Brylee Crass - 18:39.04, 51st place place - Hannah Clark 18:52.55, 57th place - Lilly Schlicker 18:54.61 70th place - Maddie Gentz 19:01.17, and 107th place - Ellie Walters 20:08.24.

With a PR time of 17:12.19, Mallory finished in 1st place at the IHSAA State XC Championship. Mallory is Concordia's 3rd Individual Girls State Champion [Alissa (McCaig) Doehla - 2003 and Adele Mitchell - 2004]

Congratulations to Will Schlegel on an All-State performance at the IHSAA State XC Championship! With a PR time of 15:36.52, Will finished 24th in the State. He was joined by teammates Hunter Panning, Cillian Hoover, Zachary Cecil, Karsten Sheets, Jack Habegger and Connor Creutz with a 23rd team place finish!

Congratulations again to Andrew Bostwick of CLHS who was named the Cato Mental Attitude Award winner following the Varsity Boys Soccer State Championship match on Saturday.

CLHS Athlete of the Week for October 29th is Maddie Gentz.

The CLHS Boys Cross Country Team finished 4th in their Regional and will compete next Saturday in the state finals at Terre Haute. The boys were led by 7th place - Will Schlegel 15:59.6, 15th place - Hunter Panning 16:17.8, 32nd place - Cillian Hoover 16:46.4, 51st place - Zachary Cecil 17:17.1, 76th place - Karsten Sheets 17:39.5, 95th place - Jack Habegger 17:51.4, and 109th place Connor Creutz 18:02.21.

The Girls Cross Country Team won their Regional for the second year in a row and were led by Individual Regional Champ - Mallory Weller 17:36.4, 2nd place - Daphne Weller 17:58.1, 10th place - Lilly Schlicker 18:50.0, 12th place - Maddie Gentz 18:50.7, 18th place - Hannah Clark 18:59.0, 36th place - Ellie Walters 19:43.7, and 37th place - Riley Zent 19:49.2. The team will compete next Saturday at the state final in Terre Haute.

The CLHS Boys Soccer team punched their ticket to the state finals next weekend in Indianapolis with a 2-0 victory over Park Tudor, led by goals from senior Max Derheimer and junior Beckett Moellering. They face Evansville Memorial in the championship match next Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

They were joined by teammates (Cillian Hoover - 3rd, Zachary Cecil - 9th and Karsten Sheets - 10th) in the top 10 for All-SAC honors. Boys JV - SAC Runners Up | led by Connor Creutz - 1st, Owen Smith - 8th, Josh Kanning - 11th, Andrew Carsten - 19th, and Ben Vnuk - 26th.

Girls Varsity - SAC CHAMPS with Mallory Weller cruising to the SAC Individual Title in a time of 17:26.9. She was joined by all of her teammates (Daphne Weller - 2nd, Hannah Clark - 3rd, Lilly Schlicker - 6th, Maddie Gentz - 7th, Riley Zent - 8th, and Ellie Walters - 9th) in the top 10 earning All-SAC honors. Girls JV - SAC CHAMPS were led by Joelle Borchelt - 1st, Natalie Cordes - 2nd, Leona Dumford - 3rd, Cocoa Milleman - 4th, and Sierra Luttik - 7th.
